In the same transmission area GCap Media's Beat 106, which relaunched as Xfm Scotland in January, slightly increased its share from 4.7% in the previous quarter to 4.9%.

National station BBC Radio Scotland stayed broadly flat in terms of share, with 9.4%, adding 51,000 listeners from the last quarter, with an audience of 1.01 million.

Emap-owned Clyde 1 in Glasgow lost share falling from 16.3% in the third quarter to 14.9 in the latest round of results. Its Edinburgh station Forth One also lost share, falling from 13.1% to 12.5%.
