Hireworks, the Pinewood based dry hire facility, has supplied editing equipment for the feature film Mamma Mia and new ITV drama series Harley Street.

Mamma Mia is based on the Abba musical of the same name and stars Meryl Streep, Julie Walters, Colin Firth and Pierce Brosnan.

Working with J+E Post Production, Hireworks supplied five Lightworks Touch systems, using shared storage, plus Avid Adrenalines to complete the film.

Harley Street is a new hospital drama that starts airing on 17 July on ITV1. For that show Hireworks supplied three Avid Adrenalines in two of its Broadwick Street cutting rooms for producers Carnival Films to use.

Hireworks was launched in 2007 and specialises in the dry hire of editing technology.

In April 2008 the company competed the purchase of London Editing Machines. It currently has offices in Pinewood, Teddington and Soho.
