A Quantel eQ, an AMS Neve audio mixing desk and Angenieux lenses are amongst hundreds of items from the ITV Yorkshire studios in Leeds that are to be auctioned off this week.

The available kit covers audio visual studio equipment, editing systems, film labs and telecine suites and workshop equipment.

Examples include:

The sale is being held by ITV plc. It is being described as “Equipment surplus to the ongoing broadcasting business.”

The sale closes on Thursday 10 December 2009.

The move comes just days after ITV announced that the Kirkstall Road studios are set for a £5.2m revamp that will see Emmerdale’s production facilities move into the mothballed site and high definition facilities introduced.
