Parsons for BBC3

BBC3 controller Stuart Murphy has appointed his first channel executive, with a remit to manage output issues such as compliance and editorial matters. Katherine Parsons, who previously headed development in the BBC lifeskills department, will also help manage long-term strategy as well as providing editorial support.
