It takes place on 24 June in London
Lipsync is organising an event to celebrate the life of former finance director Norman Merry.
Merry died on Sunday 8 June after having been diagnosed with cancer in late 2024.
Lipsync announced the event in the statement below, which was shared with Broadcast Tech.
It’s been just over a week since we lost Norman.
We have received an outpour of messages of love for him, his family and his colleagues. He truly was widely admired and beloved and here at Lipsync we feel extremely proud to have been part of his magnificent journey. His life was painfully cut short, but his legacy will live on for eternity.
If you’d like to join us to celebrate Norman’s life, please feel free to do so on 24 June in London. Here’s the schedule:
1pm - Service at West London Crematorium in Harrow Road
2pm - Reception at The Nellie Dean in Dean Street
The family has asked to send donations to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution in lieu of flowers.
We’ll be celebrating Norman in the most Norman-like way, so please make sure to wear Hawaiian/colourful shirts and shorts! Let’s make him proud and turn Soho into a sea of beautiful colours in his honour.
We love you and miss you, Norman.
