Premier Sports has launched its dedicated English-language channel dedicated to Spain’s LaLiga.

LaLigaTV is available from today in the UK and Ireland via the Premier Player OTT streaming service, costing £5.99 per month or £49 annually.

Premier Sports began broadcasting the competition on TV in September as part of its channel bundle on Sky TV.

Fans can also purchase LaLigaTV alongside Premier Sports 1 and 2 channels for £11.99 per month.

Premier Sports will continue to broadcast one live LaLiga match per round via its free-to-air channel FreeSports, starting with this Sunday’s Deportivo Alavés vs. RC Celta de Vigo fixture, as well as the weekly LaLiga Highlights programme.

Melcior Soler, audiovisual director at LaLiga said: “We’re pleased to be entering the next phase of our strategic broadcast agreement with Premier Sports. For both casual and devoted fans of Spanish football, LaLigaTV offers the best quality programming, with household names providing expert commentary and analysis, as well as all available live matches in full HD.”

Richard Sweeney, CEO of Premier Sports said: “Football fans can now enjoy every moment on the go or cast to their TV’s at the touch of a button.”
