CBS Sports Digital has signed a deal with cloud video platform Blackbird to enable cloud video editing and publishing of its sports content.
CBS Sports Digital will be able to access Blackbird through a web browser and access live and pre-existing content for editing packages.
Blackbird removes the need for CBS Sports Digital editors to travel to a facility, and also eliminates the need to move content around different local storage environments.
CBS Sports Digital is a division of ViacomCBS that creates and distributes sports content across a variety of platforms to audiences around the world.
