Sony Professional has appointed equipment reseller Prokit as a Sony Specialist Dealer.
As a result, a dedicated Sony area - focused in particular on HDV and XDCam - will now be added to Prokit’s showroom.
Business development manager Mark Holmes said: “Through our close customer relationships, particularly with the freelance broadcast community, we have been indirectly supplying and advising on Sony cameras for decades.
“Introducing Sony cameras to our showroom will bring a new dimension to the customer’s buying experience, giving them a chance to really get to grips with the cameras alongside the peripherals that will make up their total solution.”
As part of the accreditation programme, Prokit will receive priority information on new product introductions and Sony’s technology roadmap.
In addition, the team will have access to the latest market intelligence and exclusive promotions and offers, including financial packages from Sony’s Financial Services.
