Quantel has added native support for files produced by the Silicon Imaging SI-2K camera to the software capabilities on its Pablo, iQ and eQ systems.
Version 4.1 Rev 7 will work directly with CineForm RAW files, creating a more efficient post-production pipeline for SI-2K shot material.
The development includes CineForm compression and its Active Metadata workflow.
CineForm co-founder and chief executive David Taylor said: “We share a common vision of quality throughout the workflow and with this new development, customers are now assured that source image quality is maintained — from camera through post production to finished project.”
CineForm RAW is a compressed raw format.
