Argonon firm to produce Ready or Not
Fifteen to One indie Remedy has scored a six-part BBC1 gameshow which will take place across the country.
The Argonon-owned producer is making the prime-time 6 x 30-minute quiz show Ready or Not, in which a roving team of hosts head out to surprise members of the public by asking a series of quickfire questions to win on the spot prizes.
Locations to feature include supermarkets and seasides from Loch Ness to Liverpool.
The comedy entertainment format is the company’s biggest commission since it revived classic gameshow Fifteen To One, which is produced by Remedy Scotland.
Ready or Not was ordered by commissioning editor Kalpna Patel-Knight and BBC entertainment controller Kate Phillips.
It will be exec produced by Remedy’s head of entertainment Matt Tiffin and head of Remedy Scotland Jim Regan. The series producer is Stuart Harrison and the series director is Paul Young.
Regan hailed the show as a “fantastic family format”.
Tiffin added: “We’re over the moon to be making such a warm, joyful show for the BBC. I can’t wait to get the whole of the UK quizzing, when they least expect it.”
