S3D Technologies is showing a number of stereoscopic 3D innovations at NAB including a Beam Splitter Rig and a stereoscopic parameters calculator.

The Beam Splitter Rig (pictured) is suitable for film and digital cameras with lenses of up to 114 mm diameter and a 16 mm focal length.

It possesses a special camera release system that allows the operator to remove and fix cameras efficiently and at speed.

The company is also introducing the S3D Calculator a software tool that enables the exact configurations of stereoscopic parameters to be sourced, based on the conditions of the set and its desired effects.

S3D Technologies is also developing S3D Plug-ins and an S3D Converter for taking footage from 2D to 3D.

S3D is exhibiting with SGO.

The Spaninsh company is unveiling Mistika version 5.0 at NAB which features a brand new interface and new stereoscopic 3D and 2D tools.
