Users can watch World Cup action from players’ POVs or any other camera angle

BBC Sport is hosting a 3D immersive experience for its matches at the World Cup.
The experience allows users to see live action and highlights from any angle on the pitch, including players’ POVs and any camera angle, in a 3D recreation of the action on the pitch. It is created in real-time by live official Fifa data and technology from XR company Immersiv.io, and is also available as highlights or a full match replay.
Camera angles include, broadcast view where you control the camera angle, a tactical view with a bird’s-eye view of the full pitch, a third-person view to follow your favourite player on the pitch, or a first-person view to see the match through a player’s eyes. You can see an example of the experience from a player viewpoint below, and can find more here.
