It is working with Microsoft to offer what it calls “personalised and engaging experience for fans around the world”
The Premier League has launched a new mobile app and website that’s designed to deliver a personalised and engaging experience for fans.
To develop the platforms, The Premier League has entered into a five-year strategic partnership with Microsoft, who have become the official cloud and AI partner of The Premier League.
The app and website’s new and improved features include:
- Matchday Live: Verified live scores, statistics, reporting, and table updates, including links to watch official broadcasts live wherever you are.
- Matchday stories: Vertical storytelling of every match, from every ground, as it happens, including links to club and broadcaster platforms.
- myPremierLeague: Shape your app and alerts around the players, clubs and matches that matter the most to you, including with the “Line Up”, an interactive tab to help you keep track, as well as provide you with access to in-depth content and personalised stories.
- The Premier League Companion: Powered by Microsoft Copilot, a new AI assistant to help fans explore over 30 seasons of stats, 300,000 articles and 9,000 videos, delivering tailored insights and bespoke content discovery at scale.
- Discover clubs: Get closer to the Premier League’s 20 clubs with seamless referral to their platforms.
- Fantasy Premier League: Play the world’s biggest fantasy football game – in Classic, Draft or Challenge format.
- Premier League Radio: A new around-the-grounds service, as well as individual match commentary from each match (excluding UK and Ireland).
Richard Masters, chief executive at the Premier League, said: “We are really excited to launch a more personalised digital experience that reflects the scale, ambition and global reach of the Premier League. These new digital products have been designed to enhance how we serve and engage with our fans around the world and reflect our ongoing commitment to innovation. We look forward to continuing to evolve these platforms in the years to come to meet the ever-changing needs of our global fans. “
