AI-powered LTX plugin will allow users to create virtual production environments with written prompts or reference images

Disguise has revealed two virtual production integrations at NAB 2026, with Sony and LTX.
The Sony XYN plugin streamlines the process of converting real-world spaces into 3D computer graphics, reducing the workload to reate LED virtual production backgrounds, by combining Disguise’s platform with Sony’s XYN spatial capture solution.
Meanwhile, the LTX plugin also hopes to make virtual production easier to use, allowing users to create 4K 60fps environments through written prompts or reference images. It integrates LTX’s AI model with Disguise Designer, and once the environment is created users can iterate on it with further prompts and images.
“Whether it’s for sport or live music, films or TV broadcasts, audiences in 2026 want to be more than just passive viewers. They want to be included as a genuine part of the experience,” says Dan Baum, VP of sales, Americas at Disguise.
“Disguise software and hardware has powered the biggest events and productions in the world for more than twenty years, and we’re delighted to be supporting our partners at NAB to continue driving these next-gen experiences of the future. By embracing innovation and integrations, improving workflows for our users, and ultimately elevating core visual moments for fans, Disguise can help bring audiences closer to the events, shows and games they love.”
