Tom Woodall has launched PixelPantry, a series of self-serve tools for post production teams

Former Molinare director of Post Tom Woodall (pictured) has launched PixelPantry.
PixelPantry is a series of self-serve tools aimed at post production teams, editors and producers, across both long and short form.
The first product from PixelPantry, QC Kitchen, is an automated quality control tool that checks files against broadcast compliance standards within minutes.
It’s priced on a pay-per-file basis and offers four service tiers depending on the range of QC required.
QC Kitchen is cloud-based and enables users to run checks any time they require day or night.
Jeremy Irwin, producer and founder of Middle Table Productions, said: “QC Kitchen took the stress and hassle out of last minute QC. We signed up during a tight delivery schedule, knew the costs upfront, received the report via email, and were able to fix and deliver the advert on time. It was simple, transparent, and far easier than going through a post house.”
Woodall adds: “I have lived many late nights at a post house, bogged down by legacy workflows and time consuming booking protocols for everyday tasks that could and should be streamlined. With the prominence of digital first, fast turnaround content and stricter budgets, for me, the old way just doesn’t cut it anymore. The PixelPantry team and I have a long history in post, and we used that experience to build the tool we always wished we had. QC Kitchen is just the start, we have more products ‘cooking’, and I can’t wait to share them”
Further PixelPantry products are in development include secure cloud storage for media and a workflow and communication tool, with announcements expected later this year.
