Product includes a conversational AI assistant called Kora

GB Labs has revealed Core.ONE, a platform for storing, protecting and accessing content.
Core.ONE is compatible with on-premises, cloud and hybrid storage environments, and GB Labs says it can scale from small teams to large organisations. In addition, read and write traffic are managed simultaneously to allow a large ingest, an active edit, and an overnight backup to run together without slowing down any function.
There are also archive and disaster recovery capabilities, and an AI-powered conversational assistant, Kora. Users can ask Kora a question in any language and get answers based on the platform’s live status. For example, users can ask about a clip’s codec, the health of a RAID array, or whether last night’s replication completed successfully.
Dominic Harland, GB Labs CEO, said, “With Core.ONE, GB Labs is taking a different approach to storage. Rather than asking media organizations to choose between on-premises, cloud or hybrid workflows, or between simplicity and capability, Core.ONE makes them all function as a single, simple system, so teams spend less time managing infrastructure and more time creating.”
