iPhone app PocketOP launches on the App Store today (1 June 2026), enabling broadcast operators, camera directors, and location scouts to see exactly what any lens would frame from a given position.

PocketOP overlays real-time field-of-view brackets on the iPhone camera feed, and is dedicated to broadcast and PTZ workflows.

The app has been created by Dutch freelance multicamera operator Martijn van der Linden.

  • Custom lens entry for glass not in the database
  • Screenshot capture that includes FOV overlay
  • Frame dimensions overlay; a setting where you can see the size in meters of the frame at a set distance
