Brief Complete picture and audio post for the BBC2 series about the workforce that maintains the M6 and the motorway’s impact on the lives of local residents.
How it was done The Baselight grade was completed by colourist Alex Gascoigne, who added colour and contrast to enhance the grey roads and wide aerial shots of the motorway. He brightened up the interior scenes, adding warmth to show contrast with external scenes. For the night-time engineering scenes, Gascoigne added dynamic and exciting colours and diffused the car headlights and street. The online edit was completed in Avid Symphony by Ronnie Newman, David Sexton and Andrew Penfold. Dubbing mixer Enzo Cannatella completed the audio in Pro Tools.
