Tigerlily Films is producing a new naval training series for AETN’s Military History channel.

Britannia will follow six cadets through their training to graduation when they become fully fledged naval officers.

Tigerlily has secured exclusive access to the Britannia Royal Naval College and will follow the cadets through key moments of their training.

The 3 x 60-minute ob-doc series will be executive produced by Rachel Job, the channel’s head of acquisitions and commissioning who ordered the programme. Nikki Parrott is series producer and Geoff Small is directing. It will tx in 2012.

There are eight divisions within the naval training college and the producers will be working with two of them.

The cadets come from a range of backgrounds and include a doctor to people who have been in the navy since they were 18.
