Bad Education – the BBC3 Jack Whitehall sitcom, not the shabby treatment of GCSE English students – has found its feet quickly.

In the previous week, it amassed 2.4 million over several showings, helping it to a better overnight on its Monday TX. Part two improved on launch by 158,000 with 988,000/5%. Eight repeats got that up to almost 3 million.

BBC4’s Jet! When Britain Ruled the Skies achieved 752,000/4% on Wednesday at 9pm with a further 47,000 for the late-night repeat.

Mount Pleasant started life on Sky 1, but as part of the Sky Living revamp, it moved to the female-oriented sister channel on Wednesday at 9pm with a live rating of 348,000/2%, 100,000 short of the Sky 1 average.

Sky 1 gave maverick cops the Airplane! treatment with spoof detective Jack Cloth. A Touch of Cloth achieved 517,000/2% on Sunday (a second part on Monday had a live audience of 384,000/2%).
