Lynch was singled out for having achieved so much in such a short space of time.

Having started out as a rookie imaging producer in Ottawa aged just 19, within three years Lynch had carried off the Gold Crystal - the Canadian equivalent of the Sony Radio award - thanks to his efforts at CIKR K-Rock.

By 23, Lynch was production manager for what was described as the most successful launch in Canadian radio history.

Now just 29, Lynch heads up all on-air production at the Golden Square-based TIML Radio. He also looks after the company's digital stations Virgin Radio Xtreme and Virgin Radio Classic Rock, and was a key player in their launches.

“Vince's mind is awash with ideas for great sonic,” says TIML chief operating officer Clive Dickens.
