OB company NEP Visions will provide host broadcaster ESPN Star with the worldwide HD feed for the Twenty20 Cricket World Cup which starts in London this week.

Visions will cover 16 matches as well as the opening ceremony in the three venues - Lords, The Oval and Trent Bridge - until 21 June.

Visions was selected by Broadcast Solutions Singapore to supply a bespoke OB set-up to cover the event featuring two large HD trucks, 28 cameras - including LDK 8300 Super Slo-Mo cameras from Grass Valley - and full HD stump cameras provided by SIS LIVE’s Special Cameras division.

Steve Jenkins, managing director of Visions said: “Broadcast Solutions realised that it would not be financially viable to ship their own equipment from Singapore to the UK and as such looked to Visions as a trusted industry partner to provide them with the equipment they needed. Visions were the only OB company with a fleet of trucks capable of supplying the required standard of trucks for the entire tournament.”

The Twenty20 Cricket World Cup starts on 5 June.
