BBC consumer affairs programme Watchdog is moving to the Hospital Club while Television Centre is redeveloped.

BBC Studios and Post Production will continue to provide technical and production services and will work alongside The Hospital Club’s operational team.

The next series of the long-running series goes into production in May and will run for eight weeks.

“We’re excited about collaborating with other facility providers like the Hospital Club while we are away from Television Centre and look forward to working with the Watchdog team again on the new series” said Charlotte Forde, BBC Studios and Post Production commercial manager.

The Hospital Club studio manager Sam Dunlop added: “It’s a great privilege to be welcoming one of the BBC’s most renowned programmes to the Hospital Club Studio, and working alongside BBC Studios and Post Production, we’re looking forward to working with Lisa [Watchdog executive producer Lisa Ausden] and her team to deliver another strong series of Watchdog.”
