Emily Bell’s article (‘Data shouldn’t be child’s play’, Broadcast, 17.07.09) reflected the views of many by seeming to dismiss the validity of the opinions of young people: “Teenage boys don’t like paying for stuff, they have a low threshold for long bits of text and find advertising ‘annoying and pointless’.”
