X-Dream International, a production and distribution company specialising in extreme sports, has spun off a distribution arm to sell interactive programming rights for the internet, writes Wale Azeez.
Extreme Interactive is capitalised at£4 million and will distribute interactive rights for sports events from the Extreme Sports Channel, X-Dream's joint-venture with Dutch cable giant United Pan-Europe Communications.

X-Dream supplies all programming to the channel.

The company, which is also in discussions with other producers about non-sports programming, is in talks with internet service providers and portal sites over content deals, according to founder and managing director Alistair Gosling.

X-Dream's current inter-active programming includes snowboarding, skateboarding, canoeing and sky surfing.
