The BBC is inviting final applications for its Production Management Trainee Scheme.

Candidates who secure a placewill be given an 18 month contract and will be given full production co-ordinator training encompassing budgeting, location organisation, media management, digital workflow, script preparation, gallery/studio programme timings, shot calling and post production paperwork. 

Individuals will also be sent on at least four different work placements across the UK. 

Placements may include radio, TV and online productions and the scheme also intends to make trainees available to Independent production companies. 

The aim is that by the end of the scheme, candidates will have the skills to compete for production coordinator and gallery production coordinator roles. 

To be eligible to apply, you must have prior experience of working in a junior production management role (for example, as a Production Management Assistant or Production Secretary).  You must also be able to work flexibly and travel at short notice.
