Brief Set the style for the two-part, 1960s drama from Broadchurch writer Chris Chibnall, and hint that the criminals, rather fancifully, saw themselves as a cool, Rat Pack-like group.

How it was done The sequence, which is set to the classic jazz version of Summertime, introduces the key players and moves the story into the first scene of the film.

Using a montage of heavily colour-graded shots, it mixes original and archive material, overlaid with the stylised flashing lights of a speeding train.

Art direction and design is by Howard Watkins, with additional design, animation and compositing by Simon Edwards and Julia Hall.

The titles were created and animated in After Effects.
