Brief Create idents and on-screen packages as part of a broad rebrand of urban entertainment channel AKA, which focuses on grime, hip hop, dubstep and R&B music.
How it was done Creative agency Shameless won a three-way pitch to produce the complete rebrand for the Universal Music/All Around The World-owned urban channel AKA.
A new logo was created that features heavily in the new brand and gives prominence to the silhouette of a rapper.
Specific idents were created for UK and US music programming, in addition to a complete on-screen package of creatives.
Executive creative director Ed Scott and senior animator Corey Houston used After Effects, Maya, Photoshop and Illustrator to complete the work.
