SIS LIVE and Arena Television have snared the contracts to provide outside broadcast facilities for ESPN’s coverage of top-flight English football and rugby union matches

SIS LIVE will provide facilities for the English Premier League (EPL) as well as the Scottish Premier League (SPL), the FA Cup and the Europa League.

A minimum of 23 EPL matches are included in the deal along with at least 30 SPL matches.

SIS LIVE will also provide trucks for ESPN’s live England U21 international games.

The contract begins in August. All matches will be shot in HD.

Meanwhile Arena Television has been handed the contract to provide outside broadcast facilities for ESPN’s coverage of Guinness Premiership Rugby.

The broadcaster will air 43 live matches and exclusive coverage of the Guinness Premiership final, plus one semi-final.

The OB contract is for HD 5.1 coverage of all of those matches plus any pre-season friendly matches.

Both contracts last for three seasons.
