Cables and studio infrastructure company Argosy has made two new appointments to its board of directors.
Rob Tyte and Chris Smeeton have been tasked with growing the Argosy business, supporting key customers and driving the company’s international sales operations.
Tyte will take on the role of operations director while Smeeton will become sales director.
Bob Clark, who has been on the board since 2003, has been promoted to commercial director.
The company is also increasing the size of its facilities at its Buckinghamshire headquarters, adding 1000 sq ft.
“Chris has been instrumental in generating significant new business opportunities with many of the major broadcasters, post production companies and systems integrators in the UK,” said Mike Purnell, director at Argosy.
“Rob has played a key role behind the scenes ensuring the smooth operations of our business by implementing various operational processes that have contributed to the success of our business over recent years.”
