The Arris Group has confirmed that it is cutting 10% of its global workforce, the equivalent of 800 employees.
A spokesperson said: “We are looking across the entire scope of the Arris enterprise to identify areas where we can fi nd cost savings, eliminate redundancies and increase shareholder value.” It has not been revealed which divisions will be affected. Arris recently completed the £1.4bn acquisition of West Yorkshirebased set-top box maker Pace.
