Atomic's animators used Discreet 3ds Max for rebuilding the period pieces, along with 3D Equalizer for camera tracking work. There was extensive use of Combustion for the compositing and digital matte paintings. The final render was done in V-Ray for "more realistic lighting calculations", according to Atomic. All rendering was done on the company's new dual AMD 64-bit Opterons hardware.
