What is it? A broadcast-quality display from the teleprompter display manufacturer.

How does it work? There are five series of monitors in the Autocue range, with the T-Series BM-AC24T (pictured) offering 1920 x 1080 resolution, 4000:1 contrast and a display area of 885.6 x 498.15mm.

Available as 24” only, the monitor has real-time colour gamut mapping (with 3D LUTs), 3G HD-SDI, HD/ SD-SDI, dual link HD-SDI, DVI, analogue component and HDMI inputs, waveform monitor and vectorscope.

By EBU standards, it’s not a Grade 1 monitor, but Autocue says the 10-bit LED-backlit panel “comes as close as any other Grade 1 monitor on the market” and is available for “significantly less than $15,000”.
