Avid has improved the way its Media Composer editing software communicates with the Artist DNxIO in/out system.
The update allows Media Composer users to: capture DNxHR-encoded media directly from devices connected to DNxIO hardware; capture and output closed captioning and other ancillary data via devices connected to DNxIO; and sync via LTC (linear time code) and DNxIO timecode ports.
The enhancements are available immediately.
