The B+ Young Talent Awards, the only awards ceremony in the UK designed specifically to celebrate young television makers, has been expanded to include graphic designers and online editors for 2003.

Further reflecting the diverse nature of TV production, the two new categories will be judged by a panel of industry experts and the best practitioners in their fields under the age of 30 will be crowned young graphic designer or young on-line editor of the year.

Other categories within the competition include best young director, editor and writer. A separate award will be given to the company that has done the most to develop young people in the industry. The winners will be announced at a ceremony and party at Po Na Na in Hammersmith on the evening of 21 May during The Production Show.

For full details and an entry form to nominate a young, talented TV maker see www.broadcastnow.co.uk/plusawards. The deadline for entries is 21 March 2003.
