Production staff working on BBC programmes picked up the lions share of winners trophies at last night's BAFTA craft award.

All but two of the 15 winners worked on programmes for the corporation with State of Play , Charles II: The Power and the Passion and This Little Life each picking up two gongs.

The Common Features and BBC Films production This Little Life did particularly well with Rosemary Kay winning best writer while it's director Sarah Gavron picked up best new fiction director.

Other winners on the night included the team behind the Walking with Dinosaurs ?franchise' which picked up its umpteenth award with Sea Monsters snaring best visual effects.

The only awards to go to non-BBC programmes were best factual photography which was awarded to Peter Greenhalgh for his work on Ancient Egyptians:The Battle of Megiddo for Wall To Wall and C4 and best factual sound picked up by the audio team on Operatunity for Diverse Productions and C4.

The BAFTA Craft awards took place last night at the Dorchester Hotel in London. A full list of winners appears below.
