BBC Studios and Post Production (BBC S&PP) has upgraded its dedicated audio production gallery at Elstree’s George Lucas Stage to a Studer Vista X console.

The new desk replaces a Studer Vista 8 that was originally installed in TC1 at Television Centre nine years ago.

The Vista X has been used for the production of The People’s Strictly For Comic Relief.

BBC S&PP sound supervisor Andy Tapley said: “We’re delivering a high track count within a short space of time for each dance, and we have the flexibility to rearrange a mix to meet any last-minute changes.”
