The BBC has hinted at the possibility of a third party investing in its studios and post-production operation.

The broadcaster’s Delivering Quality First report states: “Following its transformation over the last three years, we will seek new ideas and potentially external investment for our resources business BBC Studios & Post-Production.”

BBC Studios and Post Production was created in 2009 when the BBC merged its studios and post production businesses to create the wholly-owned commercial subsidiary BBC Studios and Post Production.
