Former Boundless production executive Mark Bos has joined post firm Blue 2.0 as executive director.

Blue 2.0 is the new name of Prime Focus UK’s post-production division which was acquired in March by a group of investors led by former Prime Focus UK VFX managing director Parvinder Bhatia.

Bos has been tasked with leading Blue 2.0’s business development and strategic efforts across all areas of the business.

He joined Fremantle Media UK (formerly TalkbackThames) in 2006 to head up its regional production office in Amersham.

As well as running Fremantle Media UK indie Boundless’ post facility in Amersham, Bos has managed series such as Property Ladder, How Clean Is Your House, Escape to the Country and Grand Designs.

He said his career had now “come full circle”.

He said: “I started out in the film cutting rooms in Soho then moved on to ITV in Manchester, PBS USA, TV3 London, ITV, various independents, Fremantle Media and now back to Soho with Blue 2.0.

“I am hugely excited to be joining Blue 2.0 at such an important time and by the opportunities that lie ahead and the vision Parvinder has for the company”.
