Fibre-optic systems provider Bluebell Opticom has teamed up with broadcast software firm Suitcase TV to work together on product development for video-over-IP equipment.

The two companies decided to collaborate after working together on a recent project that used IP technology to replace traditional HD-SDI links. One of their joint products, iphrame Vision, will integrate Bluebell’s standalone portable interfacing with Suitcase TV’s IPbased vision-mixing solutions. The first joint products are expected to be released at IBC in September.
