AiStudiosUK.com has delivered content for projects at Prime Video, ITV and Channel 4

TV creatives Ollie Durrant and Richard Osborne of Angel Eye Media have partnered with editor Duncan Thomsen to launch an AI-focused content firm that already has projects with a streamer and UK broadcasters.
AiStudiosUK.com aims to provide broadcasters and producers with AI-created content using the craft and oversight gained as media creatives.
The nascent outfit is producing content across scripted, factual, commercial and social media, and has already delivered AI sequences for productions for Prime Video, ITV and Channel 4.
Branded content has also been created for clients including Coca Cola and a Gousto campaign, which was shown on the Jimmy Fallon show in the US.
Osborne told Broadcast International that the company aims to provide a point of difference with other AI studios by leaning on the team’s creative credentials rather than solely a tech focus.
He pointed to Thomsen’s decades of experience behind the cameras and combining that expertise with AI to get the right shot.
“Those skills are all about getting the right shot, picking the right camera move, using the correct lens, picking the light and the film stock.
“Couple all of that with AI and we can offer something with real judgment, we won’t stop until we get the shot.”
Osborne said that the company would look to work with international partners but would “look to make the most of all the creative talent in the UK” as it grows.
Durrant added: “AI can deliver astonishing results at speed but what sets AiStudiosUK apart is our proven track record in delivering premium, story-led content.
“We combine human storytelling expertise with cutting-edge AI technology, all curated by experienced professionals with deep roots in broadcast and branded content.”
Thomsen said: “The rapid advance of AI is a genuine concern to many but we see it as a moment to take control of the technology and an opportunity to enhance creativity and skills across the industry at a time when many freelancers are struggling.
“That’s why AIStudiosUK is working in collaboration with The Artificial Academy, where talented and creative individuals are re-skilling to master this ground-breaking technology.”
