Juliette Howell to switch BBC Studios-backed companies to lead Gentleman Jack producer

Lookout Point has hired Juliette Howell from BBC Studios-owned stablemate House Productions as its chief exec.
Howell, who was co-founder at House along with Tessa Ross, will take her own projects from the Conclave producer’s slate and integrate them within Lookout Point’s production schedule.

Louise Mutter will continue as MD of Lookout Point working with Howell, whose upcoming slate includes Pride and Prejudice for Netflix.
The rejig at the Happy Valley and A Suitable Boy producer comes six months since A24 hired Lookout Point’s former co-chief executives Laura Lankester and Will Johnston.
BBCS said Howell’s success of producing shows for domestic and international markets would “position Lookout Point perfectly for continued commercial and critical success.”
Ross will remain in sole charge at House, which was founded with Howell in 2016 with backing from BBCS. The UK broadcaster’s commercial arm took full control in 2021.
