Frouman joined from Will Smith’s Westbrook Studios in 2022, after North Road’s creation earlier that year when Chernin acquired the US assets of Red Arrow Studios from ProSiebenSat.1 Media.

Sources said Frouman’s exit was part of a realignment of teams at the company’s UK office. North Road’s international scripted efforts will now be led by North Road president Scott Manson.

He will work with the company’s LA-based Chernin Entertainment and North Road scripted teams, as well as the teams at Perro Azul (Mexico) and Karga Seven (Turkey).

Unscripted division Kinetic Content UK remains in place and continues to scale its operations, insiders said.

Frouman’s exit comes six weeks after it emerged former Channel 4 exec Caroline Hollick had stepped down from her production and development position at North Road after a year in the role.

North Road’s scripted slate includes Netflix drama Kennedy, starring Michael Fassbender. Chernin Entertainment is producing, with production starting in London imminently.

The group is also behind Edith Wharton adaptation The Age of Innocence for Netflix, with the show in production in Prague. North Road declined to comment on the news, which was broken by Deadline.
