The English-language series was produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Lux Vide, and was available on Prime Video across much of Europe, as well as in the US, the UK, Australia and Canada.

Lux Vide’s owner Fremantle has been selling the show outside of countries in which Prime Video held rights, with deals struck with companies including India’s Star Entertainment.

The Jesse Williams-starring series debuted on Prime Video in September but ratings failed to secure it a second season.

The future of the show is now unclear, with Fremantle exploring if it can secure a new co-production partner for the second season, according to Deadline which broke the news.

The show tracks a former US marine who works as a fixer at a luxury hotel in Italy.

It was based on an idea by Lux Vide’s former chief executive Luca Bernabei, who revealed he was stepping down from his role at the Fremantle-owned production company in July.

Bernabei’s father, Ettore Bernabei, founded the Italian outfit in 1992 and Fremantle took a 70% stake in the Medici and Devils producer three years ago.

Fremantle and Amazon declined to comment.
