Finance and production firm is backed by Danny Cohen-led Access Entertainment
Former Warner Bros exec Toby Emmerich and Netflix alum Amanda Krentzman have linked up with Len Blavatnik’s Access Entertainment to launch a TV-focused financing and production outfit.
Fireside Access TV is based out of LA and is backed by a fully independent co-financing, development and production fund from Access Entertainment, which is run by former BBC TV chief Danny Cohen and part of Blavatnik’s Access Industries.

The aim is to invest in shows at early development stage to progress projects quickly. The company, which has been quietly building up its slate since 2024, now has projects across all genres, with a focus “on bold characters and optimistic themes”.
It has already backed documentary AKA Charlie Sheen and has scripted series in development with HBO Max and NBC, but further details are under wraps.
Partnerships with talent have also been struck, including Noah Pink, Justin Spitzer, Dave Bautista, Judy Greer, and Anthony Anderson.
“Fireside was created to give great storytellers the backing and creative partnership needed to execute ambitious ideas at the highest level,” said Emmerich.
“We’re focused on building TV series that people return to season after season—projects that are creatively distinctive, commercially viable, and bring joy to audiences around the world.”
Cohen added: “The television landscape has changed. Studios are pulling back their financing, just as the demand for premium storytelling continues to grow.
“Fireside Access TV will fill that gap, pairing world-class creative talent with meaningful financial support and a long-term vision.”
Emmerich was previously chairman of Warner Bros. Pictures Group, where he oversaw Warner Bros. Pictures, New Line Cinema, DC Films, and Warner Animation Group, greenlighting titles such as Joker and Barbie.
He also runs Fireside Films, a film company with a first look deal at Warner Brothers, led by Michele Weiss.
Krentzman led global original series at Snapchat and before that worked on Netflix’s international originals team as an executive producer on shows including Dark (Germany), Cable Girls (Spain), and Club de Cuervos (Mexico).
She also held senior roles at The Jackal Group and Ben Silverman’s Electus.
