5 will broadcast live coverage of 23 of the 63 matches, the rest will be available exclusively on DAZN
Broadcaster 5 has confirmed the 23 FIFA Club World Cup matches it is airing from 14 June - 13 July.
This follows a partnership deal between 5 and DAZN that sees 5 broadcast live coverage of 23 of the 63 matches from this summer’s FIFA Club World Cup free-to-air to UK viewers.
The remaining 40 games will be available exclusively on DAZN in the UK.
The FIFA Club World Cup takes place from 14 June to 13 July in the United States and brings together 32 of the most successful club sides from 20 countries and each of the six international football confederations.
Clubs competing in the tournament include Chelsea and Manchester City from the UK; Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Inter Milan and Bayern Munich amongst the other European clubs and international clubs such as Inter Miami and Boca Juniors.
The fixtures for 5’s 23’s matches kick off with Inter Miami v Al Ahly on 14 June.
5 will also show highlights from every match across its social accounts and YouTube channel and will stream The Press, a magazine show presented by James Alcott and Julien Laurens analysing the day’s matches on 5’s streaming service.
