LaLiga wins court order against VPNs

LaLiga has won a piracy related court order against VPN services NordVPN and ProtonVPN.

The ruling means that the VPN providers are recognised as responsible intermediaries in the piracy of LALIGA matches and requires them to immediately block, within Spain, access to specific IP addresses identified as illegally streaming protected audiovisual content.

This is the first such order against VPN services in Spain, and adds to similar rulings issued in France.
