International Judo Federation will continue using SES to deliver live events and archive content to broadcasters worldwide, building on a decade-long partnership

International Judo Federation and SES have extended their long-standing partnership for the distribution of premier judo events globally.
Under the new agreement, International Judo Federation will continue to use SES’s hybrid IP, fiber and satellite network, as well as the Sports Content Orchestration Enabler (SES SCORE) platform, to deliver judo content to broadcasters and audiences in Europe, Asia and the Americas.
SES has helped International Judo Federation deliver and preserve hundreds of thousands of hours of content for more than a decade so far.
In addition to archiving and on‑demand access for broadcasters via SES SCORE, SES provides end‑to‑end operational support for International Judo Federation events, including uplink coordination, pre-event testing, live transmission monitoring, customised booking confirmations and contingency planning.
The partnership ensures the seamless delivery of live competitions and long‑term access to International Judo Federation’s extensive judo library.
The International Judo Federation is the international governing body for judo, founded in July 1951. It has 200 National Federations on all continents, and there are over 20 million people around the globe who practice judo, according to the International Judo Federation.
