Tan has most recently been working with Dentsu, World Rugby, and LFCTV on rights and consultancy

Two Circles has hired Augustine Tan as its head of media rights in APAC.
Tan joins the agency after over two decades in the industry, including senior media rights roles at Sportfive, WWE and Perform/DAZN. He has previously managed rights partnerships and commercial distribution for properties such as FIBA, WTA and NFL.
Most recently, Tan has been working with the likes of Dentsu, World Rugby and LFCTV through his A Side Project business. At Two Circles, he will now lead its media rights business across APAC.
Tan said: “APAC is one of the most exciting and diverse sports media markets in the world, with huge opportunities for rights holders to grow audiences and unlock new commercial value. As the global Fan Economy surges towards $2 trillion, those opportunities are only growing. What attracted me to Two Circles is the ability to approach those opportunities differently. By bringing together media rights expertise, audience intelligence, production and streaming capabilities, my focus is on helping sports organisations build stronger distribution strategies, reach more fans and ultimately drive greater returns from their content.”
Gareth Balch, CEO and co-founder of Two Circles, added: “The way media organisations create value from sports media rights is improving. We are seeing the value of audiences and analytics at the heart of transactions. Media rights are growing and the opportunity for our approach is particularly exciting in APAC, where markets, platforms and fan behaviours vary enormously. Augustine brings a brilliant combination of experience and has the relationships and to support our clients to know fans best. We’re excited to have him leading our ambitions in the region as we continue to grow our clients’ global media rights businesses.
