Playout automation systems provider BroadStream has appointed Paul Murzell as director of product engineering.

Murzell’s most recent position was engineering project manager at Turner Broadcasting, where he was responsible for the research and implementation of new technology.

In his new post, he will manage BroadStream’s product engineering team and lead the company’s playout and production graphics projects.

Former TSL Products marketing manager Susie Haldar has also been recruited to look after global PR and communications.
